Joiner Heroes?

This quick guide will explain the difference between rally leader and rally joiner heroes.

Rally Joiners

When joining a rally, the first hero you select is the one that provide the buff to the rally. If you select a hero with an expedition buff that helps with stone mining, it is worthless for the rally. The rally will use the highest level heroes in the rally for the buff. So if you send the wrong wrong, everyone will suffer and do less damage.

Joiner Slot

This is the slot that determines which hero gives a buff to the rally.

Expedition Buff

The expedition buff that if given to a rally is the top right buff. It is circled in red in the image above. This particular one provides a lethality bonus.

Bad Attack Rally

This rally only has only one buff that helps. The one circled in red provides attack buff and the other provide a chance or defense and a damage reduction. This is bad for things like bear trap but could work for attacking players or outposts.
